Why vote Bill Pfifer for Johnson County Sheriff?
I will not request or
accept any pay raises during my tenure as your Sheriff.
I adamantly oppose
the construction of a new 60 million plus dollar Sheriff's
administration building at taxpayer's expense.
Under my
proposed plan, criminals incarcerated in the Johnson County Jail
will be required to reimburse taxpayers for their jail stay. I
want to send a strong message to criminals. "If you commit
crimes in Johnson County, YOU will pay, NOT the taxpayers.
Utilizing new
technology, I will implement an emergency warning system to
notify county residents by text message, email, cell phone,
pager or home phone of emergency situations or disasters.
With the possible
merger, or incorporation of White River Township, the next
Sheriff will have to do more with less. I have plans and
solutions for these critical issues.
I will increase the
forensic capabilities of our agency to combat new and
ever-changing crimes involving technology.
